EVALUASI KINERJA UNIT SEDIMENTASI DAN ANAEROBIC BAFFLED REACTOR PADA IPAL KOMUNAL TLOGOMAS BERDASARKAN HASIL MONITORING KUALITAS EFLUEN

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Tlogomas is a one of region in Malang city that have applied Communal WWTP located in RT 5/RW 5. Tlogomas Communal WWTP consist Sedimentation Unit dan Anaerobic Baffled Reactors. WWTP effluent quality show the average value 38,68 mgBOD/L; 128,1 mgCOD/L and 52 mgTSS/L which have not met the quality standards based on East Java Governor Regulation No. 72 of 2013. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the existing condition of the sedimentation and ABR unit based on sensor monitoring data result. The method used in this evaluation is compare the performance results of the existing unit with the profile and design criteria. The results of the sensor prototype test were able to estimate the BOD and COD values ​​with an accuracy up to 94.70% and 94.14%, but the sensor prototype measurement data could not be used because the prototype was still in the further development stage. The results of the performance evaluation of the sedimentation unit show that the value of the existing HL parameter is low, while the value of the existing HRT parameter is too long. The results of the performance evaluation of the existing ABR unit have met the design criteria.
