Abstract

Buton asphalt is contained in rock deposits found on the island of Buton and its surroundings Therefore, currently the government is promoting the use of Buton asphalt in order to make optimal use of existing natural resources. This study aims to determine the asphalt content contained in asbuton, to determine the optimum asphalt content in the AC-WC mixture and to find the maximum use of asbuton in the AC-WC mixture. From the results of the research, the asphalt content contained in the asbuton extracted was 20.68% in the B50 / 30 type. The optimum asphalt content in the AC-WC mixture without asbuton was 5.8%, the stability value was 982,41 and the percentage of maximum levels of asbuton use in the AC-WC mixture is in the variation of 8.4% with a stability value of 1341.33.
