OPTIMALISASI KEBUTUHAN AIR IRIGASI DAN JADWAL TANAM DI BENDUNG KARET JATIMLEREK KECAMATAN PLANDAAN KABUPATEN JOMBANG

Abstract

The Jatimlerek Rubber Weir which is located in Jatimlerek Village, Plandaan District in Jombang Regency, East Java, the Jatimlerek Rubber Weir was built in 1991 which includes the central part of the Brantas River. This dam serves to supply irrigation water to rice fields with a raw area of 4,549 hectares, which at this time the condition in several networks is damaged so that the network is not functioning optimally. This is due to the lack of maintenance of the irrigation channels and the lack of public awareness, so that many irrigation facilities and networks are damaged. For this reason, this study aims to determine the condition of the water balance and the problems that occur by knowing the condition of water structures and the area of land in the Jatimlerek Irrigation Area, which is in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency. From the results of water balance analysis based on the results of research and calculations, it can be concluded that the discharge (Q) of the secondary channel of Jatimlerek is 2,795,000 l / second and the demand for water in the Jatimlerek Irrigation Area is 1,527,348 l / sec. Based on the amount of discharge and water demand in the Jatimlerek Area, the Water Balance in the Jatimlerek Irrigation Area is in a surplus condition or the water discharge is greater than the need for water discharge in the Irrigation Area.
