KAJIAN KINERJA RUAS JALAN VETERAN

Studi Kasus : Kasawan Mall Transmart dan Mall Malang Town Square Kota Malang

Abstract

Transmart and Malang Town Square are the largest control centers in Malang City which are located on Jl. Veteran which is the busiest road in Malang City. The large number of generation and volume on this road results in heavy activity on the side of the road which results in congestion during peak hours, thus affecting performance on the road. The purpose of this study is to see the performance of the existing Veteran Road section and to engineer traffic flow for the next 5 years.

To support this study, sample volume, attraction and generation with field surveys on existing conditions were carried out for 3 days starting on Monday, 09 March 2020 until Saturday 21 March 2020. The survey was carried out to see the classified level of traffic density on the sections the path. The calculation method used in this study uses the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI).

Based on the analysis of attraction and generation, it was found that Transmart visitor attraction on Saturday March 21 2020 was 3158 people and generation was 2989 people, vehicle traction was 3916 vehicles / day and vehicle generation was 3040 vehicles / day with a percentage of motorbikes of 57% and cars of 42%. Meanwhile, the visitor attraction of Matos was 4059 people and the generation was 3777 people, the vehicle attraction was 4052 vehicles / day and the vehicle generated was 3212 vehicles / day with a percentage of 57% motorbikes and 42% cars. From the analysis, it was found that the largest traffic load was on zone 4 transmart with a proportion of 32% and in zone 4 matos by 30% of visitors and for the predicted year 2025, the number of visitors from zone 4 matos was 5286 people and 4112 people on transmart.
