Abstract

During the construction project implementation period, many jobs were delayed. This also happened to the Mantingan - Ngawi - Maospati - Ponorogo - Madiun - Caruban Road Rehabilitation Preservation Project, the delay was for the work carried out again after Eid because there were still some of the workers who could not attend. Therefore, scheduling optimization is needed to catch up with this delay. Optimization of scheduling in the Mantingan - Ngawi - Maospati - Ponorogo - Madiun - Caruban Road Rehabilitation Preservation Project, is carried out using the Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method with 2 scenarios, namely the addition of 2 hours of overtime and 3 hours of overtime work. This aims to be able to catch up with delays by conducting a network analysis in the form of a CPM. In the initial plan, the project required a completion time of 210 days with a total cost of IDR 35,694,814,758. The results of this study indicate that the first scenario (additional 2 hours of overtime work) gets a completion time of 175 days (16.67%) at a cost of Rp. 36,146,656,224 (1.27%) while the second scenario (additional 3 hours of overtime work) gets completion time of 166 days (20.95%) at a cost of Rp. 36,315,468,517 (1.74%). The most optimal scenario is the addition of 3 hours of overtime work because it has a duration that is less than the normal duration and costs that are not too large than normal costs.
