Abstract

Water is one of the most important human needs, adequate and healthy water can help implement community health programs. Based on the existing condition of the PDAM in Baamang District, the number of residents served by PDAM in this sub-district is only 72,961 people from 12,987 SR (House Connections) which installed and projected based on the 3 method projection with a population growth of 0.01652% for 10 years.

The geographical condition of East Kotawaringin Regency is mostly peat soil. For people who have not been served during the dry season, it is difficult to get clean water easily. It is necessary to evaluate the distribution network so that the development of clean water distribution can be carried out properly. The development of proper distribution of clean water will provide clean water services to the community. And in order to meet the increasing demand for water every year and the limited flow of water sources, it is necessary to develop the distribution of clean water needs for the Baamang District, East Kotawaringin Regency in the PDAM service area in East Kotawaringin Regency until 2030.

And obtained predictions of clean water needs PDAM for the next 10 years with production capabilities that can meet the clean water needs of PDAM customers until 2030. And the development of a pipe network system that is simulated in the WaterCAd V8i program where the required pressure at all node points is 1.6-3.2 atm.
