ANALISIS KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS

Studi Kasus : Ruas Jalan Raya Karanglo – Karangploso Kabupaten Malang

Abstract

Jalan Raya Karanglo–Karangploso is the primary collector road connecting Malang Regency, Malang City and Batu City, is a road with high accessibility, with conditions prone to accidents that result in loss of life and material. This study was conducted to determine the value of the accident rate through the accident rate calculation, to determine the relationship between the number of accidents and the influencing factors, to find out the results of the comparative test of the factors that influence accidents through the One Way–ANOVA method, to find out the accident-prone locations on the Karanglo–Karangploso highway through collision diagrams and the calculation of the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) and analyzes the factors causing the accident to find alternative solutions in minimizing the occurrence of traffic accidents. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the highest accident rate occurred on Jl. Raya Kertanegara based on the number of fatal accident classification 0.711 accidents/ 100JPKP, while the classification of minor accidents was 3,705 accidents/ 100JPKP. One Way–ANOVA analysis hypothesis test using the Minitab 18 application, proves that the month and day factors of the accident show identical results (no effect on the occurrence of accidents). While the factors of hours, type of vehicle, gender of the perpetrator, and the location of the incident showed significantly different results (influenced on the incidence of accidents). Then from the results of the collision diagram depiction, the most types of accidents are side collisions in different directions with a total of 70 events out of 194 accidents. And the results of the Equivalent Accident Number (EAN) calculation show that the accident-prone location (black spot) is located on Jalan Raya Kertanegara with an average EAN value of 30.2727.
