STUDI PENENTUAN LENGKUNG DEBIT (RATING CURVE) UNTUK MENUNJANG SISTEM PERINGATAN DINI (EARLY WARNING SYSTEM) DI DAERAH ALIRAN SUNGAI (DAS) TEMEF KABUPATEN TIMOR TENGAH SELATAN, PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR
Studi Kasus : Menunjang Sistem Peringatan Dini (early warning system) di Daerah Aliran Sungai Temef Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Temef River is located in Oenino Village, Oenino District, South Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. The problem that occurs in the Temef watershed is changes in the volume of water discharge and water level that occur during the rainy season, this can trigger flooding so that the flow of water can bring the results of hillside debris that can sweep residential areas and existing infrastructure.
To overcome this problem, it is necessary to determine the rating curve in order to help determine the relationship and influence of rain on water level associated with flood events so that it can provide disaster information to support the early warning system.
The results of the analysis show that by using the Rating Curve method using a linear equation, it is obtained that h = 0.0102Q+ 0.2572 with an R2 value of 0.9833 meaning that the river discharge that occurs is 98% influenced by the water level factor. The higher the water level, the higher the discharge will occur. From the discharge curve equation obtained using the help of Microsoft Excel, calculations are carried out to obtain the water level based on the flood discharge using the Nakayasu method. So that the flood alert status can be determined based on one cross section of the river with Normal state 234 m3/s, Alert 315 m3/s, Alert 332 m3/s, Danger 434 m3/s
