Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure that has an important role to support the mobilization of goods, services and people. So that with a good transportation system, starting from road conditions and facilities, it can improve the economy and the welfare of the community as transportation users. Damage to the road can cause the function of the road to be less than optimal. As happened on Trunojoyo Street, Kedungwaru District, Tulungagung Regency, which experienced various types of damage. In planning for repairs, it must be mature and detailed, taking into account economic aspects, road users' safety aspects and the quality of the pavement thickness as planned. Therefore, to determine road maintenance planning using the SDI (Surface Distress Index) and IRI (International Roughness Index) Bina Marga 2011 methods by conducting a direct damage survey in the field every 100 m. Meanwhile, in handling road damage using the traffic analysis method and the FWD deflection of the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual, where the LHR and FWD deflection data are obtained from the Public Works Department of Bina Marga, Tulungagung Regency. The use of this method is also based on maximum deflection data and deflection curve with an empirical mechanistic design approach for the rehabilitation of roads with heavy traffic according to the problems experienced. The results of the analysis show that the average SDI value on Jalan Trunojoyo is 145 which indicates the condition of lightly damaged damage and the average IRI value is 7,878 which indicates moderate damage, so that the right type of maintenance based on these two values is periodic maintenance with the addition of layer thickness. added (Overlay) the wear layer (AC-WC) to the old pavement. With an overlay thickness of 10 cm using FWD deflection, with a total maintenance cost of Rp. 3,037,587,374.25.
