ANALISA PENGENDALIAN BANJIR
Sungai Batu Merah, Desa Batu Merah, Kecamatan Sirimau, Kota Ambon
Abstract
Flood is an event that will occur when the flowing discharge cannot be accommodated by the cross section of the river, causing water to overflow from the river embankment boundary and cause inundation in the area around the river. The problem of flooding is a problem that often occurs in Indonesia, one of which occurs in Batu Merah Village, Sirimau District, Ambon City. Ambon City is one of the cities in Indonesia that experiences flooding every year. The purpose of this research is to seek and control flooding and overflows that occur in the Batu Merah river by knowing the maximum flood discharge that will flow at the planned discharge of the Q10 year return period, so that a dike with a size and height can be planned that can accommodate the discharge that flows at the maximum discharge. The results of this study are the flood discharge of the 10-year return period of211,736 m3/s andThe alternative taken to control flooding on the Batu Merah River is the embankment repair approach by increasing the guard height by 0.8 meters.
