ANALISIS KERUSAKAN JALAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PCI (PAVEMENT CONDITION INDEX), SDI (SURFACE DISTRESS INDEX) DAN IRI (INTERNATIONAL ROUGHNESS INDEX)

Abstract

Widuri Road is a class III road along 1300 m located in Sukorejo District, Blitar City which has a fairly high level of vehicle volume due to the goods terminal and as an alternative route to Kediri City. This condition makes various types and levels of damage that occur, ranging from minor damage to major damage. This study aims to analyze the type of road damage with PCI, SDI and IRI methods to further determine the type of handling that can be applied according to the value of the damage condition based on the three methods. The implementation of this study includes a road damage survey conducted on December 14, 2021 using visual methods by dividing the segments into 100 m per segment, as many as 13 segments. Survey data is then used to determine the appropriate type of maintenance. The results of the road damage analysis along the Jl. Widuri section are transverse cracks, elongated cracks, crocodile cracks, random cracks, grain releases, holes, patches and grooves of vehicle wheel marks. The percentage of damage that occurs along Jl. Widuri is 4.3% for transverse crack damage; 1.1 % longitudinal crack; 24.9% crocodiles crack; 20.4% random cracks; 8.6 % of grain release; 6.2 % of holes; 32.3% of patch and 2.2% for rutting. For damage conditions on Jl. Widuri is 62.6 based on PCI values so that the entrance is in the Good category, while based on the SDI method obtained the road condition value of 20 is included in the Good category and the IRI method obtained a condition value of 2 then it falls into the Good category. Based on the value of the damage condition, the type of handling is Routine Maintenance. Types of activities carried out on routine maintenance include patching holes (patching), filling gaps / surface cracks (sealing) and asphalt sweeping.
