ANALISA KERUSAKAN JALAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE BINA MARGA UNTUK MENENTUKAN PRIORITAS PENANGANAN

Studi Kasus: Pada Jalan Trunojoyo - Karangrejo Kabupaten Tulungagung

Abstract

Roads are transportation infrastructure that serves as a support for the mobilization of people and goods to move from one place to another. Therefore, the need for road infrastructure that supports and has good service capacity to support these activities. However, if it is not properly maintained, the road will be damaged. Road damage can affect the speed and comfort of passing vehicles, as happened on Jl. Trunojoyo – Karangrejo, Tulungagung Regency. Good repair methods are needed so that the transportation system becomes fluent and the infrastructure becomes safer, more comfortable, and efficient for every user. Therefore, one of the guidelines is to analyze the type and volume of road damage to determine the priority of handling it using the Bina Marga method and its cost analysis. The results of the analysis and calculations are known that the value of the analysis of the level of road damage on the Jl. Trunojoyo – Karangrejo using the Surface Distress Index (SDI) method has an average value of 119.29 where this value is included in the lightly damaged condition. Meanwhile, by using the International Roughness Index (IRI) method, an average value of 7.47 is obtained where the value is in the Medium condition. The type of Damage Handling that can be applied to the Trunojoyo - Karangrejo road section based on the SDI and IRI values ​​is Periodic Maintenance, by increasing the thickness of the overlay on the old pavement using the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual Method with an overlay thickness of 6 cm with a total maintenance cost amounting to Rp. 2,188.055.538.00.
