Abstract

The problem of domestic waste is a problem that requires the attention of all stakeholders. It is undeniable that the increase in population and limited available land are the triggers for the accumulation of domestic waste production. If it is not taken seriously, the waste problem will have an impact on decreasing the sanitation of the environment which results in deteriorating health and welfare conditions of the population. In the Tempurejo sub-district area, Kediri city, the population density is uneven, with certain areas having high density due to the presence of Islamic boarding schools in the area. Therefore, the government of Kediri city gives special attention to domestic waste management by building a “TPS 3R” in the Tempurejo sub-district and this is one of the first “TPS” which is developing quite well due to the response from the society for utilizing the available facilities. This encourages the formation of community groups concerned with the environment that help the society to manage and transport their domestic waste into “TPS” locations so that environment of residents is cleaner and healthier. Along with the increasing number of community members who wish to be assisted in transporting their domestic waste, the management is starting to experience obstacles in arranging the bookkeeping of cash in and out of waste management, managing income from residents every month, spending wages for auxiliary workers and operational activities of the management. For this reason, an innovation is needed that can help community groups concerned with the environment in the Tempurejo sub-district to organize and tidy up the management of cash flow accounting using tools that are easy and understandable to the manager. The output target of the solutions offered is increasing public trust due to transparent and clear bookkeeping support, so that this can have an impact on the increasing number of people who use the facilities provided by groups concerned with the environment. The expected long-term impact is that the environment will become cleaner, public health will also improve so that people's welfare will increase.
