Abstract

The need for clean water is increasing along with incerasing population in the future. This requires a spatial planning for the development of a clean water supply system. We can estimate the energy and cost requirements for the management of the clean water supply system according to the planning year. Until 2020, the service level of Pasuruan Regency’s PDAM covers 55.5% of the total population of the service area and 20% of the total population of Bangil District. The result of population calculation in Bangil District in 2030 is 95,395 people with a population growth ratio is 0.63% every year. The water requirement needed in 2030 is 300 liters / second. While the existing water sources have a capacity of 213 liters / second, so the existing sources have not been able to meet the needs of clean water supply. Development planning is replacing and adding pump’s capacity and utilize potential water sources to increase the production and distribution capacity of clean water. The simulation of sringking water pipelines using EPANET.
