PERENCANAAN SISTEM PENYEDIAAN AIR BERSIH
Studi Kasus : Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Mgr Gabriel Manek Svd Atambua
Abstract
The need for clean water at the Atambua Regional General Hospital continues to increase. This is due to the development of the hospital itself in the next 10 years. The need for clean water is very much needed to support health services at the hospital, both during peak hours and normal hours. Hospital clean water needs are calculated based on the number of patients plus employees and visitors. After the total clean water needs are known, the next step is to plan the supply system, including: reservoir, pipeline network plan. The reservoir plan is to determine the dimensions of the reservoir for clean water needs in one day, while the pipe plan is to determine the type of pipe, pipe length, and pipe diameter so that water needs can be distributed to all rooms in one day. The pipe plan needs to be reviewed for the allowable speed between 0.30 – 4.5 m/s and the pressure between 1 atm – 8 atm. To find out the proper supply system planning, analysis is needed. The analysis used to plan the water supply system in the hospital uses an auxiliary program, namely watercad V8i. The results of the analysis show that the current demand for clean water is 612575.79 L/day with 1265 users. The need for clean water in the next 10 years is 1269526.17 L/day with 2611 users. Dimensions of the planned reservoir 9.5 m long, 6.3 m wide, 4 m high. and a guard height of 0.5 m The pipe that is planned to be able to meet the speed and pressure is a type of PVC pipe with pipe diameters varying between 30 mm to 75 mm , with different pipe lengths based on the vertices.
